The Community Response to Urban Disorder (CRUD) is dedicated to actively engaging community members to participate in neighbourhood revitalization through the dismantling of urban disorder. Through this action CRUD helps create safer streets and spaces, increase walk-ability, foster a sense of community and community pride, encourage beautification and cleanliness in the north-central neighbourhoods of Edmonton. To realize these objectives and to create a strong infrastructure financial commitments are needed. Fulfilling this need will ensure the continued success of neighbourhood revitalization through community-driven initiatives and active community involvement.
