HOTDOG AND MARSHMALLOW ROAST
Come join CRUD for a fun Family Day Event at the Alberta Avenue Community League Rink, 9210-118 Avenue. There will be outdoor skating, tobogganing, and around the Fire Hotdog Roast on Monday, February 20st 2012 from 11am till 4pm. It will be a day of fun for the whole family, and don’t forget to bring your skates!
Purchase your hotdogs, buns and fixings from the back concession for $2.00 and enjoy roasting your own hotdog around the outdoor fire pit. Coffee, hot chocolate, pop, chips, and marshmallows will also be available from the concession.
GREY CUP WITH CRUD
Come watch the Grey Cup with CRUD on Sunday, November 27th 2011 at the Alberta Avenue Community Centre (9210 118 ave), doors open at 4 pm. Please join us in celebrating our Nice Neighbour Award recipients during half-time. Concession and cash bar available.

FAMILY PARK CRAWL AND BBQ
We’re kicking off our Summer Park Crawls and celebrating Father’s Day! Please join us for our first Park Crawl of the season on Sunday, June 19th from 1:30pm until 3:30pm at the Parkdale Cromdale Community League (11335 85 Street). Bring out the family, enjoy the afternoon in the park, and join us for a BBQ — burgers and beverages will be provided.
WALK FOR PEACE CELEBRATION
Join friends and neighbours this Saturday, May 21, from 1 to 3 pm, for a peace walk to celebrate UNESCO’s World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development The walk begins at the Carrot Community Arts Coffeehouse (9351 118 Ave) and ends at Eastwood Community League (11803 86 Street). The founder of the Montreal peace walk, Georges Konan, will join us with the symbol of peace: an aboriginal drum. This important symbol has been at the Montreal peace walk and the Paris peace walk! It will arrive in Edmonton and walk with us.
Please come and be part of this wonderful event. Meet members of the Alberta Ave community, including those from the African community who are helping to revitalize our neighbourhood and create a special legacy here in Edmonton.
